Butterfly Gallery

Butterflies are very difficult subjects to photograph as they fly at the slightest vibration as you aproach them. I believe in using natural light for butterfly pictures as it looks so much better than flash. The key is to get up very early and take the pictures before the insects have warmed up. They cannot fly first thing in the morning as they are cold - they can therefore be photographed using a tripod.
